One of the most-awaited holiday celebrations in the world, Christmas is again just around the corner and what better way to celebrate than being with the entire community to join in the fun and festivities that make you feel a deeper sense of the Christmas spirit.
On the Gold Coast, one of the traditional Christmas celebrations that many people look forward to every year is the Broadbeach Christmas Carols. Making the Yuletide season more fun and festive, this event surely a delightful way to celebrate the holidays as it features heaps of exciting surprises such as excellent entertainment and musical performances, great food, kids’ activities and a cheerful community vibe.
The Broadbeach Christmas Carol Happening is happening on 14 December at the Kurrawa Park in Broadbeach and will not only bring fun and entertainment, but it will also be a way to suppor the Gold Coast Community Fund and Give Me 5 For Kids. Presented by the Broadbeach Alliance and supported by Pacific Fair and 92.5 Gold FM, this event will feature an exciting lineup of activities and entertainment that the crowd will surely enjoy.
The festivities will kick off at 3pm with fun activities for kids such as the Vertical Rush Ride, Bozo the clown jumping castle, face painters, balloon twisters, animal farms and Smartie Pants the clown.
Of course, you can enjoy the joyous tunes and chants during the Broadbeach Christmas Carols to start at 6pm. Aside from these much-awaited holiday musical performances, you can also catch the impressive musical shows from the country’s talented singers on stage under the spectacular starry night sky. Don’t miss the performances of Marina Prior, Denis Walter, Jenna Dearness-Dark from The Voice Australia and Josh Needs from the 2013 Blues on Broadbeach.
The Gold Coast Youth Orchestra, Gold Coast Choir, Santa, Broadbeach elves, and many other great talents will also grace the Broadbeach Christmas Carols to perform your classic holiday music.
Adding more flavour to the event, you can also delight in loads of food and refreshments available at stalls in the park such as food such as hot dogs, pizza, snow cones and a sausage sizzle.
