Celebrate the Gold Coast Eisteddfod with Cannes Court!

We at Cannes Court Apartments are excited for the upcoming Gold Coast Eisteddfod, and so should you. Be part of what is dubbed as the largest cultural event in the city and in the country. The Gold Coast Eisteddfod is bound to recreate the festive atmosphere at Robina and Albert Waterways Community Centres and Arts Centre Gold Coast from July 28th to September 9th, 2016.
The Eisteddfod was initially part of the popular Tropicarnival, and later branched out to become the largest competition of its kind in Australia. Entries are received from the south east Queensland region and other parts of the country. Contestants are composed of individual entrants, and groups from Primary and Secondary Schools while more than 70 Dance Studios participate in sections, which include: Solo and Group Dance, Piano, Strings, Brass and Wind, Instrumental Groups, Bands, Orchestras, Vocal, Choral and Special Needs.
The Eisteddfod has tied up with the Welsh International Eisteddfod in Llangollen, and is poised to welcome 70,000 performers for its 35th edition this year.
